“BLUE DEVILS” across the full chest isn’t a subtle choice. This isn’t the small logo you tuck under a jacket. It’s the whole name, spread wide, in varsity block with the city underneath it. The version for people who want Marietta to read from across the parking lot.
Marietta High School opened in 1892. The football program started in 1902, and they’ve been playing at Northcutt Stadium since 1940, a WPA venue that FDR’s New Deal funded for a city that took its Friday nights seriously. The 2019 GHSA 7-A title ended 52 years between championship appearances. People who were in the stands for 1967 brought grandchildren to 2019.
Marietta isn’t a suburb that happened to get a school. It’s a city with its own square, a National Cemetery from the Civil War, a school district that runs separately from Cobb County for a reason. The community that backs these Blue Devils has always been deliberate about who they are. Blue Devil Nation doesn’t fill Northcutt Stadium every Friday out of habit. It’s because the program has given them something worth showing up for, decade after decade, through the lean years and the championship ones.
The full chest wordmark is the version that doesn’t ask anyone to look closely. Just the name. Just the city. That’s all it takes.
Panda Prints is a custom print shop in Kennesaw, a few miles from Marietta. This isn’t licensed school merchandise, just well-made fan gear for people who already know what those two words mean.
Four colorways. Black with navy and silver is the obvious call, and the photos show you why. Royal blue, white, and desert tan are in the mix too.
