A keychain takes a beating that most printed products never see. It rides in pockets full of coins, gets dropped on driveways, and lives in cup holders next to spilled coffee. Sublimated aluminum holds up to all of that because the ink is dyed into the coating, not stuck on top of it. There is no clear top layer to scratch off and no ink layer to peel.
Two shapes, same construction. The rectangle has more horizontal room, which suits side-by-side photos, longer names, and address text under a graphic. The round shape pulls the eye to a center point, which is why monograms, family crests, and round photo crops sit better on a circle than on a rectangle that fights the design. The white aluminum gives saturated color that small wood or leather keychains struggle to reproduce, and skin tones in photos come through naturally instead of going pink or yellow.
The rectangle has rounded corners, the round version has no corners to ding, and a pre-drilled hole at the top accepts the included split ring.
