Sublimation bonds the ink right into the coated aluminum surface, so the print sits inside the tag instead of on top of it. That matters on a dog tag. It rides a collar all day, scrapes against a buckle, dunks in a water bowl, and keeps reading clearly a year later. The print does not peel or rub off the way vinyl or laser-marked layers can.
Both sides print, which is the part most people care about. Pet name and a paw graphic on one face. Phone number, address, and an “if found” line on the other. Or a photo of the dog on the back and the basic info on the front. The white aluminum gives saturated color, and small text holds up well at this size, down to about 6 point if the font is clean.
The corners are rounded and the edges are smooth. There is a pre-punched hole at the top for the included split ring and ball chain. It sits flat against the collar without the heavy clank of stamped brass, which dogs that startle easily tend to appreciate.
The same blank works as a zipper pull on a backpack, a luggage marker for kids’ bags at camp, a memorial keepsake, or a small shop tag for handmade goods. Send a high resolution photo or a vector logo and Panda Prints handles the layout, sizing, and proof before anything prints. Custom dog tag orders ship from Kennesaw, GA, and single tag jobs typically turn around in two to three business days.
